Ortega's R122SN is a classical guitar with a slim neck profile and a truss rod. It has a lovely satin-gloss finish and comes complete with a deluxe gig bag. The cedar top produces a well-balanced sound with warm accents provided by the mahogany body and neck. The R122 comes with a high tension string set as standard but should you wish to change it for a lighter set, that's no problem at all thanks to the 2-way Extralight truss rod. If you're looking for an affordable classical guitar that offers great value for money, the Ortega R122SN is a smart choice.

Dit is een fantastische gitaar en dan neem ik niet eens de lage prijs in aanmerking. Ik ben geen klassieke gitarist. Speel gewoonlijk jazz-gitaar. Wilde niet te veel geld uitgeven om wat Zuid Amerikaanse nummers te spelen op een klassieke gitaar. Ik had er nog één staan van 40 jaar geleden, maar de hals vond ik wel wat erg breed. (52 mm). Deze hals is 48 mm en speelt heerlijk, vooral als je een 42 mm hals gewend bent.
En ook de klank is echt heel mooi. De gitaar is prachtig mat gespoten en heel goed afgewerkt. Geen scherpe fretjes en zo. Kortom, veel waar voor je geld.

Het is een goede gitaar, speelt fijn, dunnere hals voor een redelijke prijs.
